Yangmila is the founder of Shirin. Shirin products started its venture in the year 2016 with just one basic product, a kind of prototype of Gooseberry candy. The founder ofShirin products, YangmilaZimik started her food processing business in a small unit in Ukhrul. At the initial stage, Raw gooseberry was taken from nearby villages.
From a scale of just one person, it has now expanded to 10 employees, all ranging from youth to old age, students who are on vacation and also the unemployed. Shirin products focus mainly on women empowerment. Shirin products sells its Products in wholesale and retails in Ukhrul and also have customers who come and buy directly. Shirin products use traditional methods for processing which require huge logs of firewood. Some products such as Plum jam, wild olive jam, prunes apple candy etc., are manually stirred.
