Stanford Seed is a philanthropic initiative led by the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Stanford Seed sends world-renowned faculty and facilitators from Stanford University and other renowned experts to provide business training to owners of small-to-medium sized businesses. The high-touch training program empowers CEOs/founders to grow their companies and create jobs, with the ultimate goal of leading their regions to greater prosperity.
Applications for our 2019 cohort are open now and deadline to apply is July 01, 2018, so we are now beginning our search for the most promising CEOs/founders in India. Please note that we are particularly interested in empowering women business owners and for-profit social enterprises, though we are open to those from all industries.
Overview of the Seed Transformation Program:
The program consists of four Immersion Weeks in which participants receive business and leadership training from renowned Stanford faculty and other leaders. In between Immersion Weeks, Seed facilitators conduct Workshops, Leadership Labs, discuss business problems, and assist in discovering solutions. Facilitators visit each CEO’s/founder’s company and conduct workshops along with their management teams.
Once the 12-month program is complete, cohort leaders become members of the Seed Transformation Network, a network that offers additional resources, such as networking opportunities and access to coaches, consultants and Stanford student interns.
