Monalisha is the proprietor of Manorama Foods and Agrotech, which deals with healthy agricultural products that are 100% naturally grown. They are launching North-east India’s first branded brown rice in the market named as “AmbyGold”. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti assisted her throughout her journey to be amongst top 20 at The Hot pitch (TieCon Kolkata). She is engaged with Dhriiti on improving various aspects of business like accounting, business plan development, pitching and communications, branding, and market expansion.

Momee Pegu

Momee is the founder of 99 Street Cafe, an initiative from RIGBO Youth Resource Centre, an initiative by RIGBO Majuli that works with rural youth.

A river island cafe, The cafe is a comfortable space for all age groups to meet and discuss their ideas and dreams with library facilities to read books of their choice accompanied by live music and a wide range of organic multi cuisine. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti assisted Momee in building a concrete business plan and engaged in maintaining accounts, expansion of the space. She also brought in elements like sustainable farming to add organic products in the cafe menu.

Maggie Lalnunsangi

Maggie Lalnunsangi is the co-founder of DCM Living. Maggie is a passionate interior designer who has established a manufacturing unit in the furniture sector with all types of timber components. She is officially among the few in Mizoram who owns Saw Mill License. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti has supported Maggie to validate her business plan for the furniture manufacturing unit and in networking with other like-minded entrepreneurs.

Maggie is part of Her&Now Cohort 1.0.

Lydia Ngoruh

Lydia is the founder of Sun Enterprises based out of Imphal, Manipur. Through this enterprise she aims to make the tedious process of cleaning time and cost effective. They offer various dish wash- liquid and soap and other cleaning products.

Through Her&Now, Dhriiti assisted Lydia with understanding the process of business registrations, branding and packaging.

Lovely Baruah

Lovely is the founder of “FitBird” based in Tripura. FitBird helps the artisans and weave through skill development on new innovative ideas, advance tools to give high quality products, on bulk production, packaging, logistics as far as marketing. Fitbirdoffers a wide range of handicrafts items, home decor, clothes, jewellery and essential items.

She is also a designer consultant under O/o the development commissioner (Handicrafts) NER. Lovely also received grant in aid for developing Craft & Artistic Textile base micro enterprise supporting livelihoods of Artisans & Weavers in Tripura by Chaliha Foundation. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti assisted her with linkages to financial assistance and engaged with her on expertise in marketing techniques. She also participated in a virtual exhibition for CII Hastakari 2020.She also benefited from the network of women entrepreneurs in the region that enabled her in expanding horizon and support during the lows in her business.

Laldikkimi is engaged with her non-woven bag business in Mizoram.

Komna Moidam

Komna is a social entrepreneur who works with upliftment of women folks that include housewives, student drop-outs and the weaker section, who needed help in creating a platform and in giving an opportunity for sustainable livelihood. She received State Award on the 34th Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh from the Governor

M/S Komna Moidan Enterprise deals in the local tribal base products which are produced with the available raw materials in the jungles of that area and available rich cultural skill on handicraft like beads-making etc., and work on garment production on varied items of daily uses as well as designer dresses. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti managed to assist Komna with the business operations, introduced to linkages to financial assistance and exposure of her social media.

June Rose Vaiphei

June is the founder of Soothe Handmade based in Imphal, Manipur. Soothe Handmade offers variants of handmade soaps, candles- scented and wax candles, hand sanitizers. The zeal to help people and also give them employment keeps her going. She was awarded the 1st North East Unsung Heroes Red Carpet Social Award 2019 from Manipur State in November 2019.

Through Her&Now, Dhriiti helped June with techniques to balance her enterprise and family life. It also gave her insights into customer relationship management and social media marketing. She also participated in GAME Annual Entrepreneurship Convening in December 2019 through Dhriiti network. And she’s exposed to new markets and financial linkages with the help of the programme.

Jayalita is the founder of The Road Not Taken- a young development practitioner and a menstrual educator with a passion to reach the unreached in Manipur.

The idea for the love of life at Periphery makes her idealise social entrepreneurship and plans on launching ‘Khoiree’ a social enterprise that works on menstrual education and sells cloth pads.

Through Her&Now, Dhriiti helped Jaya on the organizational structure for her venture and mould her thought process right from an idea to a product through mentoring and sessions conducted throughout the programme.
