Alpana Goswami
Alpana Goswami is the founder of Dhaaga. After working for 18 years with various textile units, Alpana decided to start something of her own which will add some value to the society. She was especially keen to work with the Northeast folks. As a result, she started her business “Dhaaga” in 2018. They sell bed covers, Dohars, table runners, Trays, Coasters etc., which is sourced from various parts of India (mostly the North East) and sell these through exhibitions. Her business, although registered and operating for almost a year now, has not been able to strategize priorities yet.

Alemjungla Jamir
Alemjungla Jamir is a food entrepreneur from Nagaland and the founder of “The Naga Bowl Express” Restaurant in Dimapur, Nagaland. She worked with the Oberoi, ITC and Hilton hotels in India as well as in Europe in MSC cruise liner before returning to Nagaland where she worked for 11 years as a faculty-in-charge of hotel management at the Global Open University. She has also chaired the Naga Chef Competition held annually since 2013 during the Hornbill Festival and has contributed as a judge to several food competitions in North East India.
Alemjungla started the Naga Bowl Express Restaurant in 2018 with an aim to preserve and promote Naga cuisine. She employs an all fresher team of local youths as well as supports several local farmers through her enterprise. A self-professed food aficionado with a deep love for all things food, she dreams of ultimately placing Naga Cuisine on the global food map. Her restaurant was recently awarded the most admired traditional Naga cuisine restaurant.

Abuan Gangmei
AbuanGangmei is the founder of “Abuan Food” based out of Tamenlong, Manipur. She started the enterprise in 2018 after attending a training programme on food processing organised by KVK, Tamenglong and got FSSAI registration as “Abuan Food”.
The main activities of the enterprise includes pickles and candies with seasonal fruits; a home-based enterprise, she sells it at local stores and attend exhibitions in festivals.

Aakanksha Batra
AakanshaBatra is the founder of The Green Collective which offers products composed of sustainable and eco-friendly materials such as cane, bamboo, rattan, water hyacinth and local grasses. In her bid to create a change in the home decor and furniture space,Aakanksha uses age-old technique and creates modern and contemporary designs. The vision of TGC is to respect and represent the heritage of Indian artisans, while handcrafting contemporary home-decor and furniture items in sustainable natural materials.
Aakansha has been engaged with early stage and unicorn start-ups and has been an intrapreneur for quite some time; she feels that she has all what it takes to make her business successful. Yet this business will be her first solo venture and she will need assistance along the way.

Silda Thabah
Silda is the founder of M/s Delicacies Food Processing Center which deals with food processing based in Shillong, Meghalaya. The enterprise is operating at a small level and her customers are mainly departmental stores and hotels. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti provided Silda the right networking with fellow women entrepreneurs in the region and leads on marketing.

Sheikh Moidun Nilufar
Sheikh Moidun Nilufar is the founder of Libaas Boutique which deals in Handicrafts &Handlooms. They create different designer mekhela chador, stole, bed cover, and dining mat with runners in all traditional tribes of Assam with cotton, eri and mulberry silk.
Her&Now helped Nilufar in improving her branding strategies and leverage social media for larger customer outreach. It equipped her in communications, as well as compliances for better business management.

Zuvelu Dozo
Zuvelu is the co-founder of Wishlist, a gift shop based in Dimapur, Nagaland which curates personalised gift items and helps local small-time artisans to sell and display their products too. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti engaged with Zuve on taking critical business decisions and assisted her on linkages to financial assistance.

Zorammawaii Khiangte
Zorammawii is the founder of GrowPure Mizoram, an organic herbal production business based in Aizawl, Mizoram. They offer a wide range of diabetic juices and health drinks using locally sourced herbs and fruits. Through Her&Now, Dhriiti assisted her with assistance in finding the right resources for machineries. She was also provided with networking and linkages for the business.
